Petals & Stems Co. Rental Terms & Conditions Last Updated: March 2026 Welcome to Petals & Stems Co. By placing an order, renting, purchasing, or using our products, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”). Please review them carefully before completing your order. For purposes of this Agreement, “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual placing the order. “Company,” “we,” or “our” refers to Petals & Stems Co. “Items” refers to all products listed in your order confirmation or invoice. ________________________________________ Quick Policy Summary 🌿 For convenience, here is a simplified overview of our most important policies: • Orders must be paid in full at checkout • Rentals must be returned within 3 days after the event date • Late returns incur a 10% fee per day • Items not returned may be charged at full replacement value • Cancellations must be made by email • Refunds depend on how close the cancellation is to the event date • Customers are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear The full legal terms are listed below. 1. Rental Period Shipped Orders Rental items are shipped to arrive at least three (3) days before your event date. All items must be shipped back to Petals & Stems Co. within three (3) days after the event date. If the first available return day falls on a Sunday or holiday, items may be shipped on the next business day. Late returns will incur a late fee equal to 10% of the pre-tax and pre-shipping order total per day, up to ten (10) days. Items not returned within seven (7) days of the required return date will be considered kept, and the customer will be charged the full replacement value. Return shipping fees and late fees are non-refundable. ________________________________________ Local Pickup Orders For local pickup orders, items must be collected on the scheduled pickup date. Early or late pickups may be allowed depending on availability but do not extend the rental period. Customers who fail to pick up their order will be charged the full order amount including taxes. Items returned late will incur a 10% daily late fee based on the pre-tax order total. Items not returned within ten (10) days of the scheduled return date will be considered kept, and the customer will be charged the full replacement value. ________________________________________ 2. Packaging & Returns 📦 All items must be returned: • In their original packaging • Packed in the same way they were delivered • Using the return label provided If a customer uses a different shipping method, Petals & Stems Co. is not responsible for the cost. If original packaging becomes damaged, customers must contact us at: support@petalsandstemsco.com to arrange replacement packaging. ________________________________________ 3. Proper Use of Rental Items All rental items must be used only for their intended purpose. Floral items must follow these guidelines: • Florals cannot be used near open flames • Florals may be placed in water but cannot be fully submerged • Florals cannot be returned with loose dirt or sand Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling will be charged at the full replacement value. ________________________________________ 4. Payment Terms 💳 All orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout. Petals & Stems Co. reserves the right to cancel or decline any order at its discretion. ________________________________________ 5. Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be submitted via email. Refund eligibility is as follows: 30+ days before event date Full refund 14–30 days before event date 50% refund Less than 14 days before event date No refund Petals & Stems Co. may adjust cancellation fees at its sole discretion depending on circumstances. ________________________________________ 6. Order Changes Order modifications requested more than 60 days before the event date will be accommodated free of charge. Changes requested within 60 days of the event date may be approved based on availability and company discretion. All change requests must be submitted by email. ________________________________________ 7. Event Date Changes (Rebooking) If your event date changes, your rental items may be transferred to the new date at no additional cost, subject to availability. If certain items are unavailable on the new date, refunds will follow the cancellation policy using the original event date. ________________________________________ 8. Inspection of Items Customers must inspect items immediately upon delivery. If any shipping damage is discovered, customers must notify Petals & Stems Co. within 48 hours and include photographic evidence. If no notice is provided, items will be assumed to have arrived in acceptable condition. ________________________________________ 9. Normal Wear & Tear The following conditions are considered normal wear and tear and will not incur additional charges: • Broken flowers • Missing petals or leaves • Torn or frayed ribbon • Watermarked ribbon • Bent stems • Missing boutonniere pins • Missing boutonniere/corsage boxes • Missing informational materials from packaging ________________________________________ 10. Damage or Missing Items Customers are responsible for any items returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: • More than two flowers missing from a bouquet • Rearranged or disassembled bouquets • Burnt or melted petals or stems • Excessive dirt or sand on flowers • Missing foam insert in shipping box ($10) Charges will be automatically billed to the payment method on file once items are inspected. ________________________________________ 11. Payment Authorization By placing an order, the customer authorizes Petals & Stems Co. to charge the payment method on file for: • Late return fees • Replacement charges • Missing or damaged items • Any unpaid balances related to the order ________________________________________ 12. Replacement Prices Bridal Bouquet — $250 Bridesmaid Bouquet — $130 Junior Bridesmaid Bouquet — $70 Aisle Marker — $70 Compote Centerpiece — $160 Arch 1 Piece — $175 Arch 2 Piece — $350 Arch 3 Piece — $525 Aisle Meadows — $250 Boutonniere — $15 Corsage — $25 Non-Floral Decor — 5× the rental price ________________________________________ 13. Limitation of Liability Petals & Stems Co. is not responsible for damage to personal property or injury caused directly or indirectly by the use of rental items, including but not limited to: • Dye transfer or bleeding • Clothing snags • Tablecloth stains • Venue damage • Personal injury ________________________________________ 14. Indemnification Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Petals & Stems Co., its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from: • Customer use or misuse of rental items • Violation of these Terms and Conditions • Property damage or injury occurring during the rental period ________________________________________ 15. Force Majeure Petals & Stems Co. shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: • Severe weather • Natural disasters • Shipping carrier delays • Supply chain disruptions • Government actions • Public health emergencies In such situations, the company may reschedule delivery, substitute comparable items, or issue partial refunds at its discretion. ________________________________________ 16. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which Petals & Stems Co. operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within that jurisdiction. ________________________________________ 17. Entire Agreement These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the Customer and Petals & Stems Co. regarding the rental or purchase of items. If any portion of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
