Product Care – Faux Florals
Petals & Stems Co. uses high quality silk and real touch florals. To keep your faux florals looking beautiful and realistic for years, we recommend gentle, regular care. Dust your flowers every 1–2 weeks using a cool, low-setting hairdryer or a soft microfiber cloth. For real-touch (latex/foam) flowers, any stubborn marks can be gently wiped with a slightly damp cloth or baby wipe, but avoid soaking the stems or petals.
Keep arrangements out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, and avoid harsh chemicals, heavy water, or extreme heat, as these can damage the materials and adhesives. If flowers become misshapen, you can carefully reshape them by lightly steaming from a distance, taking care not to overheat the material.
For best results, store arrangements in a cool, dry place when not in use, and handle with clean hands to prevent oils or dirt transferring onto the fabric. Regular light cleaning will help maintain their color, shape, and overall appearance.
Unboxing & Fluffing Your Florals
Your florals were carefully designed, arranged, and packaged for shipping. When you receive them, they may need a little fluffing and adjusting before display.
Centerpieces
Remove the centerpiece from the box and gently adjust the florals as needed, as some stems may have shifted during shipment. The florals are securely glued into high-density floral foam that is attached to the compote vase, so the arrangement will remain secure while you shape and fluff the stems. You may notice a few small petals or pieces of greenery come loose during handling — this is completely normal and will not affect the arrangement.
Bouquets
Remove the bouquet from the box and gently fluff and adjust the florals if they have shifted during shipping. Don’t be afraid to fluff the bouquet — it was carefully designed and silk florals are flexible and can be bent and shaped back into place. You may lose a few small petals or greenery pieces during handling, which is normal and will not affect the bouquet.
All Other Florals
For all other floral arrangements, follow the same steps as above — gently remove from the box, fluff, shape, and adjust stems as needed after shipping. Any minor shedding of small petals or greenery is normal and expected.
Once fluffed and shaped, your florals are ready to display and enjoy.
